From May to June, 2017 China Vocational Colleges Skill Contest was in progress. SISO contestants showed their strength by winning two first prizes (Computer Network Application and Marketing Skills), and three second prizes (Management and Assessment of Information Security, Technology and Application of Big Data, and Embedded Technology and Its Application). Besides, SISO contestants had won three first prizes and six second prizes in Jiangsu Province to place the institute before all its counterparts. On June 12, SISO team returned from Singapore World Brand-Planning Final with the gold again, thus SISO saw the breakthrough with six world and national awards in a period of one month.
