On the evening of May 12, twelve members of Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Services Outsourcing (SISO) Dragon Boat Team set off for Italy, to take part in Venice International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament as the first team from Suzhou to join international dragon boat races. It is reported that the team will take part in the matches on May 14 and 15 for events of 200m straight race, 500m straight race, 5km rally and 32km water marathon.
