In September 2017, Jiangsu Education Department held “Excellence Today”, the Third Art Exhibition of Institutions of Higher Learning, which took from about 90 colleges and universities more than 3000 pieces of art work, including oil paintings, Chinese traditional paintings, woodblock prints, lacquer paintings, sculptures, Qouache paintings, and watercolors. Three SISO teachers were invited to exhibit their works: Chinese Parasol Tree Flowers Blooming by Zhang, Hongbo, Distant Praise by Zhou, Yang, and A Mountain Forrest in the Breeze by Xu, Feiyang.
